How To Create a Nursing Clinical Ladder 🧑⚕️📈1️⃣ – Appoint leadersThink #nursing administration, nursing education, nursing practice, and frontline #nurses. This committee will develop the goals and framework of your program.2️⃣ – Assess needsIdentify the current and future needs of your organization and nursing staff, as well as best practices from other organizations' programs.3️⃣ – Define levelsLevels should reflect the different stages of nursing practice. The criteria should be measurable, achievable, and aligned with your organization’s values.4️⃣ – Develop processesThe processes should involve self-assessment and peer review. They should also include methods for feedback, recognition, and rewards for the nurses who apply and achieve the #ClinicalLadder levels.5️⃣ – Pilot and implementConsider a small group of nurses to test the program and provide feedback. The implementation phase should involve a wider rollout of the program with ongoing support for the nurses who participate.6️⃣ – Monitor and evaluateLastly, monitor the percentage of nurses who achieve the levels, the impact of the program on #NurseSatisfaction and #PatientOutcomes, and the suggestions collected from all stakeholders.
