Today I had the pleasure to present my thesis which I have been exploring for the past 8 months. This thesis allowed for the opportunity to work with animals outside of my usual realm. I have learnt so much about research and fish! I would like to thank my supervisor, Dr. Wilkie, for this experience. Please enjoy my work on ammonia and urea excretion in larval sea lampreys!

Another spectacular summer at Forest Hill Animal Clinic is complete! As always, I learned a handful of new information and got to see many challenging cases. A big thank you to all the staff at FHAC for being the best. Moving into my final year at WLU, I am thrilled to announce my return to Mitchell Animal Hospital shadowing Dr. Gerald Gyorffy! Thank you to Dr. Gerald for having me back another year. I am also starting a new chapter in equine medicine shadowing Dr. Yair Rojman. I have always had a desire to work with horses in the vet field and am so excited to do so! Thank you Dr. Rojman!

As the school year wraps up, so does my time at Mitchell Animal Hospital. I would like to thank all the staff at MAH for creating such a warm and welcoming environment. Thank you to all the veterinarians for allowing me to shadow! A special appreciation goes out to Dr. Gerald Gyorffy for mentoring me the past 8 months - I have learned a great deal and am so grateful to have had this opportunity. I am additionally happy to announce I will be back at Forest Hill Animal Clinic for my third summer now as an Animal Care Attendant. Thank you to Dr. Ryan Franklin for the offer back this summer, I cannot wait!

As summer approaches an end, so does my time at Forest Hill Animal Clinic. I had yet another amazing summer and am so grateful for this learning experience. I would like to thank all the veterinarians, technicians, ACA’s and receptionists for everything - you have made the clinic a second family! I would also like to say thank you to Mark DuHamel at NVA for organizing my internship position at Mitchell Animal Hospital for this school year. I look forward to enhance my experience and learning!

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I will be working my second summer at Forest Hill Animal Clinic! I would like to thank all the veterinarians, vet technicians and ACA’s for helping me get one step closer to my dream of vet school. I cannot wait for the learning and experiences I will gain from my second summer at FHAC.
