Microsoft came out swinging yesterday, and in case you missed anything, here is everything announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024.

Yesterday's Xbox Games Showcase was filled with a plethora of game announcements, reveals, looks at some of the games coming to Game Pass, as well as Microsoft's confirmation that Xbox Series X|S mid-gen refreshes are on the way. It was a packed-out show, and so in case you missed it, we've got everything announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 for you right here.

Here's everything announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024

  • Microsoft kicked off the showcase with a first look at its new heavy-hitter franchise, revealing a gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 after the company leaked its release date on the Microsoft Store.
  • We then got an announcement for Doom (2016) prequel Doom: The Dark Ages, which launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025.
  • Undead Labs gave us a look at State of Decay 3 with a new trailer, which offered a glimpse at some gameplay. Unfortunately, no release date was given.
  • After its rename from Dragon Age: Dreadwolf last week, EA dropped the Fall 2024 release window for Dragon Age: Veilguard via a new trailer.
  • Bethesda gave us our first look at Starfield's Shattered Space expansion via a gameplay trailer, and also dropped a feature-packed update for the game.
  • Bethesda then dropped a trailer for Fallout 76's upcoming Skyline Valley update, and we shared a host of details about the playable Ghouls that are coming in 2025.
  • Sandfall Interactive revealed its upcoming turn-based RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which launches into Xbox Game Pass in 2025.
  • We got a 2025 release window for Compulsion Games' gorgeous South of Midnight, along with our first look at its gameplay.
  • Blizzard shared an action-packed trailer for World of Warcraft's The War Within expansion, along with an August release date.
  • Konami treated us to a stunning gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, although we still yet to see a release date.
  • It wouldn't be an Xbox showcase without an appearance from Rare's open-world pirate game. We got a fantastic look at Sea of Thieves: Season 13 via a trailer — Flameheart's powerful ship included.
  • Following its delays, we finally got a July Xbox Game Pass release date for Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.
  • Much to Heidi's excitement, a fresh gameplay trailer confirmed that Age of Mythology: Retold will launch into Xbox Game Pass in September.
  • While still missing a release date, The Initiative dropped an impressive gameplay trailer for Perfect Dark.
  • Blizzard then revealed the August release date for Diablo 4's Vessel of Hatred expansion, along with a look at a gory cinematic trailer.
  • Playground Games gave us another spectacular Fable trailer, along with a 2025 Xbox release window — it's shaping up to be a gorgeous game.
  • Bad Guitar Games shared a gameplay trailer for its upcoming 5v5 hero shooter FragPunk, confirming its 2025 Xbox and PC release window.
  • Pine Creek Games announced that Winter Burrow will bring its "cozy" survival gameplay to Xbox Game Pass in early 2025.
  • The Artful Escape developer, Beethoven & Dinosaur, announced that its next game, Mixtape, will join Xbox Game Pass in 2025.
  • Asobo Studio announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will launch into Xbox Game Pass in November.
  • ZeniMax Online announced that all of The Elder Scrolls Online's DLC is free-to-play on Xbox for a limited time — it also has one of the best ESO trailers to date!
  • We almost lost Sean to an explosion of excitement with this one: Square Enix announced that Life is Strange: Double Exposure will launch on Xbox Series X|S in October.
  • Amazing Seasun announced that its multiplayer mecha shooter, Mecha Break, will blast onto Xbox and PC in 2025 — with a beta arriving in August this year.
  • Another game we were surprised to see without a release date, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle got a fresh trailer during the showcase.
  • Soulslike action-RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers was announced for Xbox Series X|S, and launches straight into Xbox Game Pass in 2025.
  • Xbox Wire appears to have leaked Avowed's November release date after its latest story trailer was shown during the showcase.
  • Rebellion announced that its upcoming survival-action game Atomfall will launch into Xbox Game Pass in 2025.
  • Ubisoft treated us to a new gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed Shadows, which launches on Xbox Series X|S in November.
  • As we draw closer to its September release date, GSC Game Works treated us to another awesome S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl gameplay trailer.
  • Microsoft announced that three new Xbox Series X|S consoles will launch this holiday season, including the rumored all-digital Xbox Series X in white.
  • Rounding out the show, The Coalition announced the next Gears game: Gears of War: E-Day, a prequel set fourteen years before the first Gears game — sadly, no release date was revealed.
Following the showcase, Xbox boss Phil Spencer commented on the recent Xbox layoffs and confirmed that more Xbox games will go multiplatform.
