So, where does this story primarily take place in the timeline? It's kind of right around the end of the season of the Risen. Kind of where a drought of loot happen in any ending season you know. It's established that Lord Saladin is with the Cabal and we're allies with the Eliksni(common knowledge). And it's right around when Saladin does his bi-seasonal Iron Banner.

Tranquility-3, the hero of humanity

The hero of all of Sol, basically the player character everyone plays as. Called by her nickname, almost always, Tranquil. She's slayed gods of all kinds, more Hive gods than anything else like Oryx, Crota, Savathûn, and Xol. A very shy and introverted Exo who doesn't seem to talk much to strangers as she's quite anti-social. She dislikes public places as she would rather stay in somewhere more quiet. Most note that she is very quiet and hard to get to speak first as he dislikes speaking first. Tranquil always appears small. But she is kind and friendly, not really the hating type of guardian. She's also very honest about how she feels and open whenever she's around her friends. Those who are her friends say that she's extremely talkative and extroverted, the opposite of how she always appears. She loves to talk about all matter of things whether random topics, godrolls, or other such stuff that she's interested in. That being drawing, writing, and being in certain fandoms. Despite her shy and introverted exterior she is an excellent leader and is even able to rally a whole group of people to fight. Being loud, commanding, and charismatic. She's the one yelling orders and taking the charge first in anything, the first to charge forward for others. She's willing to sacrifice herself for someone or for all of humanity, throwing herself always. She can be headstrong and stubborn.
Trou Noir, the void-black Phoenix of Sol

The warlock of the fireteam, and also the one to provide Well in any raid party(even if he does curse you a storm because of it). He is most proficient in void and solar and is often seen using it(mostly the Sunsinger one and Well of Radience). He's usually called the grumpy one of the group as he is known, by all, to be extremely rude, mean, and jeering to everyone he meets. Even to his friends, nobody is safe from him. He also loves to curse in almost all of his sentences, using a lot of f*cks in it. He snaps at other people and pokes fun at their small mistakes or blunder. He always has a grumpy expression on his face 24/7, ready to say something to someone. He has a dark sesne of humor and loves to poke fun at others. Although, despite his apparent rudeness and meanness he's actually surprisingly nice, more apparent in his actions than words really. Even if he'll say he won't help someone he will help them, if begrudgingly. He values his friends above all, being protective of them and not letting any farm befall them, even going so far as to sacrificing himself for them. He does have a few people he's more comfortable with talking to, those being Tranquil, Enigma, Saint-14, and Osiris.
He was a disciple of Osiris fun fact. Because of story lore reasons, the Speaker saw the vast potential Noir has so he decided to entrust Noir's training to Osiris to help him achieve it.
Enigma, the mystery of the Tower

The hunter of the group and the final member of the fireteam, the one most likely to go invis on you and leave you to get attacked by the boss. He's the most mysterious one of the group, nobody knowing who he actually is and how many names or personas he went through. Many people know him by many names, all of them being a persona of who he was. A friend, a loved one, a villain, a betrayer, he's been there done that, experienced everything life has to offer. What is know is that he first awoke during the beginning of the dark ages. Enigma likes to stay as mysterious as possible, not revealing anything about his past or even if he was this or that person. He also hates revealing who he is, preferring to stay as mysterious as possible and only using highly strange riddles to answer questions about his past. He is known to be chaotic and uncontrollable, doing whatever he wants and regularly disappearing and reappearing from places. He appears to express no true emotions, not truly feeling anything and being able to hide it extremely well and able to put up a facade of fakeness. He does love a good old drama or argument happening as he loves anything action related to happen. Although with his time with Tranquil has changed him, now truly being able to actually express emotion and being able to feel something. He treats Tranquil like a little sister, not letting any harm come her way and being overprotective of her. He likes being with Noir and considers him a close friend. He is willing to sacrifice his own life if it means he can protect the both of them. Because of Tranquil, he is willing to live his life out as Enigma and die as Enigma.
He seems to know quite a few people, like the Drifter, who doesn't seem very keen about being around him, espessing his distain for him. It isn't know what he did, although it's heavily implied by Drifter that he had betrayed him. Osiris seems to recall someone who looks similar to him.

Others!
Desperado is apart of the second fireteam, he's mostly seen in raids. A bounty hunter, he was once a Warlord who had done terrible things, he used to be called Warfare when he was a Warlord. He now works essentially for Lord Saladin to forever repay his debt. A snarky, jeering, hardy, strict, and somewhat snappy hunter. He appears gruff and tuff guardian. He's intelligent and cunning. He has a habit of smoking and drinking regularly. He's a cowboy because I love them <33
Psychedelic Acid is the second member of the secondary fireteam, he's... a warlock for sure. His clothes are EXTREMELY colorful, eyebleeding even. Not much established for him since I haven't really worked much with him but he is a frequent Comp enjoyer, heavily into Crucible. Extremely chaotic and unbridled, uncontrollable and crazy by others. A lot of people dislike his crazy talking and behavior, many saying he's insane but he is actually quite perfectly sane. He just puts on a crazy character. Known in the Comp and trials space for being unbeatable, many not wishing to match with him
Jurisprudence is the final member, the titan of the group. A famous detective and prosecutor when he's not out saving Sol. He's also a private investigator, solving mysterious for other people for the low-low price of free! He is extremely smart and is able to solve any case presented to him in the matter of minutes or hours, nothing stopping him. He's also famous for his good-looks as well. Cool, calm, and collected, he is somehow able to keep his cool in extremely chaotic situations. He is very serious, especially about his job. Serious to the point he appears emotionless although he isn't. Very analytical, law oriented, and an expert in anything law related.
Haast-7 is a original Iron Lord made by me because I can. Very jovial titan, he is kind of dead and I'll be revealed who had killed him.
Livyatan-7 is an original Warlord character made by me. A terrible person overall, did many terrible and absolute disgusting things. The person who killed him will be revealed later on.
Skishi is a original Eliksni character, kind of a placeholder name until I think of something cooler. Not much I have for him really. He is a fan of Tranquil.
Unnamed Cabal is also another original character, but cabal. Literally doesn't have a name because I don't know how cabal do names so please help. A big fan of Tranquil, watches all of her Iron Banner matches religiously.
I do have a secret original character that I won't spoil, you'll learn who they are the more I write about this fic. Basically you will all be as clueless as Tranquil.
